FAQs

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship?

We currently deliver to the lower 48 continental United States. Due to the perishable nature of our product, we can not ship to a P.O. Box.

What days do you ship?

Because our products are perishable, we do not ship over the weekend. Orders are processed and shipped Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, not including holidays. The earliest delivery day each week is Tuesday. In some cases, expedited shipping may be available - please call us at 214-935-3380 to discuss special arrangements or send a message below.

Are meat products shipped fresh or frozen?

We ship all of our product frozen unless otherwise noted. Products are shipped vacuum sealed with freezer packs inside an insulated cooler. We use 1-2 day shipping services in order to ensure the quality of your product.

If your product arrives partially thawed but still cold to the touch it may still be refrozen or used within 3-5 days if kept refrigerated.

Do I need to be home to receive my order?

We recommend arranging delivery for a time when someone will be available to accept it. If that is not possible, our shippers are authorized to leave packages when they determine it is safe to do so.

What should I do if there is a problem with the order I just received?

If your order arrives incorrect, damaged, or not up to our standards, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will do everything we can to make it right.

Beef Grade Information

Angus Choice

Upper Angus Choice, also known as “High Choice,” is the top tier of the USDA Choice grade — sourced exclusively from Angus cattle known for their superior marbling and flavor. Rich, juicy, and tender, it’s perfect for grilling, roasting, or pan-searing.

We exclude the lower portion of USDA Choice, offering only cuts that deliver superior marbling, tenderness, and flavor. Every piece provides a consistently juicy and richly flavorful eating experience, perfect for chefs and home cooks seeking premium-quality beef without compromise.

USDA Prime

USDA Prime is the highest grade awarded by the USDA — representing only the top 2–3% of all U.S. beef.

It features abundant marbling for remarkable tenderness, juiciness, and buttery flavor.

When you choose Forum Meat at Home Prime, you’re bringing the restaurant experience right to your own kitchen.

American Wagyu

American Wagyu, while not a technically a "USDA grade" of beef, is a cross between traditional Japanese Wagyu and premium American Angus cattle, combining the best qualities of both breeds.

It offers exceptional marbling, a rich buttery flavor, and a tender texture that melts in your mouth — with a slightly bolder, beef-forward taste than Japanese Wagyu.

Our Forum Meat at Home American Wagyu delivers a luxurious, unforgettable dining experience for true beef lovers.

Storing & Thawing

How long are meat products good in the freezer?

If your freezer is at 0°F (-18°C) or below, general USDA guidelines for the best flavor and texture are:

  • Steaks, roasts, poultry, pork and lamb: up to 12 months
  • Ground Beef: up to 4 months

How should I thaw my product?

The best and safest way is in your refrigerator. Leave the product in its package on the bottom shelf. Allow 24 hours for each 4-5 pounds of meat.
